How to use the fancy text generator
- Type or paste your text into the box. Every style below updates as you type.
- Click a style (or its Copy button) to copy it.
- Paste it into your Instagram bio, a TikTok or YouTube name, an X post, a Discord nickname, a game username or anywhere else that accepts text.
How does it work?
These are not real fonts. Unicode, the standard that every phone and computer uses for text, contains extra copies of the Latin alphabet for mathematics, such as 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝑖𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑐, 𝒮𝒸𝓇𝒾𝓅𝓉 and 𝔊𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔠 letters. The generator swaps each letter for its look-alike character, so the style survives copy and paste into apps that do not let you choose a font. Strikethrough and underline work differently: a combining line is added after each character.
Tips and limits
- Only the English letters A–Z and the digits 0–9 have fancy versions. Other characters, including letters with accents and non-Latin scripts, stay as they are.
- Some older phones, apps and games cannot display every symbol and show empty boxes instead. Check how it looks before you post.
- Screen readers may read fancy letters one by one or skip them, and search engines may not match them to normal words. Use them for decoration, not for important information such as names you want people to find.
- Some sites, such as certain games and sign-up forms, do not allow these characters in usernames.
